Victor Scott II

Victor R. Scott II is a global-minded Communications, Marketing, and Public Affairs executive. Most previously he was the senior vice president Chief Communications Officer and Enterprise Marketing at Cardinal Health ($205B revenue FY’23), a Fortune 14 company. His responsibilities included internal and external communications and enterprise marketing strategy, executive/thought leadership, employee communications, corporate responsibility, media relations, issues/crisis management, financial communications, digital communications, brand experience, ESG and DE&I communications. He managed a team of global employees and multiple PR/crisis agencies.

He has also served as the director of Communications and Branding for Boeing South Carolina and the 787 Program within Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Previously, Scott was director of Communications and Branding for Government Services within Boeing Global Services and before that he was director, Marketing, Communications and Public Affairs for Aviall, Inc., a Boeing Company, reporting directly to Aviall President and CEO. In that role, he was responsible for leading marketing, internal and external communications, diversity, corporate giving, as well as government and public affairs. Prior to that role, Scott served as director, Business Operations (Chief of Staff), Communications and Public Affairs at Aviall. 

Prior to joining Boeing, he served as corporate director of Government and Community Relations for Pinnacle Entertainment, Inc. Scott has held various leadership positions in highly regulated industries for companies such as Westar Energy, Inc. and Raytheon Aircraft Company. Scott’s diverse professional background spans nearly two decades with experience in marketing and communications, government relations and community engagement. 

In addition, he has served on numerous boards of directors for non-profits, including Youth Entrepreneurs of Kansas, The Urban League of Kansas and Inter-Faith Ministries. Scott has been highlighted by the Wichita Business Journal and The Network Journal with the “Forty Under 40’ recognition for his civic and professional contributions. 

Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Operations Management and Human Resource Development from Southwestern College.
